A Costa Rican Wedding
Since becoming a father of two, my TV time has reduced to the sporadic Madrid game. The streaming services I am subscribed to have two main groups of users: my daughter and my family in Venezuela. Having said that, I had in the back of my mind the notion that a Hallmark movie was being filmed here in Costa Rica. So I wondered how soon it would be available to see. To my surprise, the movie was already available to watch, so my señora and I used the free time we had allotted both Friday and Saturday to watch it.
The movie is easy to watch, not a transcendental experience of any kind, but we had a great time watching it, and some laughs were shared. What I liked the most about the movie was the photography level, especially the takes that capture Costa Rica's diverse nature.
A disclaimer for the reader who watched the movie and is planning on visiting: They atomized Costa Rica to walking distance; in reality, you can't get lost in Manuel Antonio and walk your way to El Tarcoles. Paradoxically, what does happen is that the monkeys on the beach could grab your stuff and run with it.
